Her work often features hybrid beings and symbolic landscapes, merging the personal with the archetypal. In “Overhanging”, Khizanishvili crafts a scene suspended in ambiguity—where looming forms suggest both shelter and unease, inviting the viewer into a richly painted realm of emotional and existential tension.
